Ever wonder why food at restaurants always tastes so much better than what you make at home?

It’s the sauce. It’s always the sauce.

You know the feeling. Chicken, rice, roasted broccoli — again — and halfway through eating it you’re just... over it. Not because the food is bad. Because it’s boring.

That’s not a cooking problem. That’s a sauce problem.

One great sauce and that exact same Tuesday dinner becomes the meal you’re already thinking about making again tomorrow.

What’s inside.

I make two sauces on a Sunday, stash them in the fridge, and suddenly I have a whole week of dinners I’m genuinely excited about. Same ingredients. Completely different meal. Five minutes that transforms everything.

Who made these?

I’m Arianne — Canadian Olympian, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, trained chef, and cookbook author. I broke my back in 2015, healed myself through food, and won a World Cup gold medal. I went to culinary school in New York City, interned at Saveur Magazine, and built a career around the belief that food can taste incredible AND be genuinely good for you. You never have to choose.

In 2025, days after the birth of my son River, I nearly lost my life to one of the rarest infections ever recorded. I spent 21 days in a coma and 125 days in hospital. I woke up unable to move, speak, or swallow — and I fought my way back.

These sauces are from the kitchen I came home to.  My actual go-tos. The ones friends text me about after dinner. The ones that go viral. The ones I’ve quietly perfected for years — all whole food, pantry ingredients, done in five minutes flat.

My cookbook, is coming soon.
